On Monday we went around visiting some of our local family with Charity and letting her give them a little present. The picture below is that present...

Our family is expecting our newest addition, a baby boy who we have named Chandler Anthony Parmenter, around August 17th of this year. We are really excite, especially Charity who has been telling us she whats a baby brother for some time now.

We just wanted to share our good news with everyone.

Charity is Having Fun!

Charity is having lots of fun with mom and dad. She is a really fun loving kid and always smiles. We take her out with us to dinner and movies and it does not bother her at all and she barely peeps. This is a picture of her sitting with us in our booth at Happy Sumo. I tried to convince Camille that the Buffalo Roll is good for babies but she wasn't having it. Just milk and fruity mush for Charity for a while longer yet.

Following dinner at Happy Sumo we took her to see Horton Hears a Who. She loved watching it and even was laughing with everyone else at a few parts. Come to think of it, I should get her a little stuffed Horton.

Spring has come and Camille has started playing softball with K&J Construction again. Charity and I had to miss the first game as it was way to cold but last week we got to attend the game and Charity was even blowing raspberries at the opposing team... sorry Korriane she just like's mommy's team better. Here we are at the game.

A while back our good friends Mark and Michelle Peterson gave Charity a bib that says "Future Mrs. Duritz" (referring to Adam Duritz the lead singer for the Counting Crows for those of you who dare profane). I found this picture of her that I had taken when she had first started eating. I had taken it to send to Michelle so she could see Charity's bib but I thought it belonged here too. She is getting really good at eating solid foods and I even have to take her graham crackers and banana puffs to Camille's games for Charity to munch on. She has even started drinking from Camille's glass... which has only helped reinforce our efforts to minimize our carbonated drink intake.

Charity has such a fun personality. I really get a kick out of all the silly little things she does. We love her and she is definitely keeping us very busy!

Charity at Home

We are home now and Charity is as cute as ever. We are continually working to get more pictures of her to post. The one on the left is the night we got home and the one on the right is the Sunday after. We wanted to get some pictures of her in her blessing dress and this one was just too cute.

Harley and Lizzie both love Charity though Lizzie is not really sure what she is. Harley has already taken to protecting Charity and is not shy to let people know when he thinks they have been holding her for too long. Harley also loves to sit with Camille or I whenever we feed Charity. He lays his head on her legs and stays with her. It was great that the very first day Charity was home Harley kept going into her room to check on her.

I am continually taking and editing new pictures and will post more hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

Sweet Charity

Camille and I are excited to announce the birth of our first daughter Charity Camille Parmenter. She was born last night at 9:24 PM (MDT). She weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 18 in. long. We went to the hospital about 3:30 Sunday afternoon and about 6 hours later Charity was here.

She is sweet and spry and is already trying to check everything out. Hey eyes are looking around all of the time.

Both mommy and baby are doing really well and are excited to go home.

Our Growing Family

Camille and I are happy to announce that we are going to be having our first baby. Our little girl is due on November 5th and we are really excited to meet her. I know many people doubted for a long time that we would ever even have kids but we were just taking out time.

We have already talked about names and it is almost certain that her name will be Charity Camille Parmenter. Camille and I have a tendancy to have completely different likes and dislikes for names so when we find one we both like we have to jump on it and Charity was one of those.

As we get more details about her we will let you all know but she is already a vivacious little scamp. When Camille and I went to California she must have known the day we were going to Disney Land because she really started rocking and rolling at that point.
